              WHO IS WHO? FUNDS

              This session will bring participants closer to industry representatives, showcasing different types of gatekeepers and what they look for in projects. We will focus on connecting emerging voices to the established ecosystem and initiate a forward-thinking and inclusive action process to help up-coming talent thrive. Divided into four panels; each led by different types of industry representatives: broadcasters; distributors and sales agents; film festival programmers and funds.

              Jane Mote

              Jane supports emerging documentary-makers to shape their stories through The Whickers. She is also a mentor and executive producer for feature documentaries. She was UK MD of Al Gore’s documentary channel Current and Executive Editor, BBC London before working for Discovery, Turner and UKTV.

              Selin Murat

              IDFA is the leading institute for the art of documentary film and new media. Every November, IDFA’s festival welcomes some 295,000 visits and 3,000 professionals to Amsterdam for a trend-setting program. Beyond the festival, IDFA propels the industry forward with the markets IDFA markets.

              Dominic Davis

              Dominic Davis joined the Sundance Institute in 2022 as Manager of the Documentary Fund. He previously programmed for the American Museum of Natural History, Tribeca and Rooftop Films and reviewed applications for Catapult and Creative Capital and managed the Rooftop Films Fund.
