Autumn/Spring 2026/2027 (flexible period)

RADAR is a new film festival for children and young people under Copenhagen Film Festivals. Through powerful film experiences, conversations and creative activities, we explore the questions that shape the lives of children and young people – from identity and community to climate, technology and democracy. 

The first full edition of RADAR Film Festival will take place in March 2027.

The Programme Department is responsible for curating the programme and communicating RADAR’s programme to schools and young people. In addition to films, our ambitious programme also consists of events, professional talks, workshops and educational materials.

We select and acquire films for our ambitious international film programme, create relevant partnerships and conduct outreach to our target audience. All of this leads to the festival in March 2027. During the RADAR, numerous screenings and events will be held throughout Copenhagen.

Possible tasks include:

• Participating in the development of the film programme, including film research, screening and communication
• Database management
• Communicating the programme to teachers, educators, families and youth
• Planning and running events
• Hosting, cinema coordination and oral communication during the festival

The most important thing is that you are interested in working with cultural content for children and youth, with a diverse range of tasks and direct contact with the target audience. At RADAR, you will be given a wide variety of responsibilities – from practical organisational and database work to creative development and event coordination. The internship can be tailored to your specific skills and competencies.

• Screening and assessing documentary films for the curatorial work
• Researching films, directors, and international festival programmes

• Full proficiency in written and spoken English is required. Danish is beneficial but not required.

• The internship period runs from October/November 2026 to end of March 2027.

• The Program Department welcomes both full-time and part-time interns. This is an unpaid internship.
• We are flexible and can tailor the internship to fit your studies.
• Remote work is not possible — we are based in Kødbyen, Vesterbro.

As an intern in CPH:DOX’s Talks & Public Engagement Department, you will help develop, program, and run the festival’s many debates and events.

Every year, CPH:DOX hosts over 150 debates and events that help to communicate, frame, and emphasize the festival’s film program. As an intern in the Talks & Public Engagement Department, you will be part of a team that works to develop the festival’s many debates and events and create engaging film experiences.

Your tasks will include:

• Event development: Planning and organizing events in connection with film screenings – e.g., debates, director Q&A’s, talks, workshops, or other formats that put the films into perspective
• Coordination and collaboration: Dialogue and development with other cultural institutions about film screenings and related events
• Outreach: Contacting relevant groups, associations, and organizations that can help ensure that the films reach the right audiences
• Communication: Idea development and sparring with CPH:DOX’s communication team on how to promote the film program

We are looking for someone who is proactive, a strong coordinator, and curious about the world around them. We are looking for someone who loves film and is willing to go the extra mile to promote the good message, find the unusual angle on a story, or reach out to new audiences to share the joy of film.

We are looking for an intern who has preferably been involved in developing and running events before, or has done other types of festival work or larger cultural projects. We are looking for someone who has a flair for overview, coordination, and programming, and who dares to come up with good ideas.

As an intern, you will be responsible for your own debates and events, giving you ample opportunity to influence the work with your own ideas. You will gain an internship that takes you from start to finish in how to create a festival, as well as strong skills in coordination, program development, and collaboration across organizations.

We offer a creative, informal and international working environment in the heart of Kødbyen i Copenhagen, where we place great emphasis on internal sparring, professional development, and social interaction. Furthermore, the internship can easily open many doors in the film- and cultural industry.

The internship period is flexible, but ideally from January – April 2027.

Are you always up to date with the latest TikTok trends and love turning creative ideas into entertaining videos? Are you looking for an internship as part of your studies this winter or spring? Then you might be exactly who we’re looking for!

CPH:DOX, Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival, is one of Denmark’s largest annual cultural events, attracting over 150,000 visitors, and one of the world’s largest documentary film festivals. In March 2027, CPH:DOX will take place alongside its sister festival, RADAR Film Festival, dedicated to children and young people.

We are looking for a creative TikTok intern who can bring the energy of both festivals to life on TikTok between December 2026 and April 2027. There will also be opportunities to contribute to the development and production of video content across the festivals’ other social media channels.

ABOUT THE POSITION
As our TikTok intern, you will be involved in planning, filming and editing content that captures the worlds of CPH:DOX and RADAR. This includes everything from behind-the-scenes moments at the festivals to stories about films, filmmakers and the communities surrounding them.

You have an eye for trends, plenty of creative ideas for adapting them to each festival’s tone and identity, and the ability to turn everyday moments at the festivals into content people want to watch.

You will have plenty of freedom to develop your own ideas while working closely with experienced communications professionals in the team. We value professional development and will provide ongoing feedback and responsibilities tailored to your skills and learning goals.

The internship offers a flexible start date in November or December 2026 and runs until the end of March 2027.

WHAT WILL YOU BE WORKING ON?

• Contributing creative ideas and concepts for TikTok content.
• Filming and editing short videos for CPH and RADAR’s TikTok channels.
• Contributing to the development and production of video content across the festivals’ social media channels.
• Capturing behind-the-scenes moments at the festivals and creating content about films, filmmakers and the communities surrounding them.
• Keeping up with relevant trends and adapting them to each festival’s tone and target audience.
• Helping select and repost relevant TikTok content in collaboration with our Content Editor.

WHO ARE YOU?

• You have a good understanding of TikTok trends, formats and storytelling styles.
• You have experience filming and editing short-form videos for social media.
• You can work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
• You have a creative mindset and enjoy developing ideas for engaging content.
• You are interested in film and festival culture and curious about the festivals’ audiences.
• You are fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.

December 2026 – March 2027

CPH:DOX, Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival, is looking for a Press Intern to join the team in preparing for its 2027 edition.

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in film festival communications, working with an international network of filmmakers, production teams, publicists and media. You will play an important role in supporting the press team and bringing the festival’s films and stories to journalists and audiences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update press lists, publicist contacts and media databases.
• Organise film press kits, images and publicity materials in shared folders.
• Liaise with production teams to collect press materials and information as films are confirmed for the programme.
• Assist with monitoring and responding to emails in the press inbox.
• Help prepare and update press guides, newsletter templates and other communication materials.

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken Danish and English are essential.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong writing skills and confidence handling professional correspondence.
• A proactive, structured approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• An interest in documentary film and the international film festival scene is a strong plus.
