Siri Buric

Siri Buric is a curator at Copenhagen Contemporary. Her work spans curating, museum and audience development, new approaches to collection engagement, and editorial work. Beyond this, she has worked on a range of interdisciplinary projects and film festivals in Croatia, Germany, Iraq, and beyond. In 2025 and 2026, her exhibitions at Thorvaldsens Museum were named among the year's best by leading Danish newspapers. In her curatorial practice, Buric is particularly interested in transitions - the in-between spaces and movements between systems, memories, and identities, where hybridity, both cultural and human, becomes a recurring thread. This interest is rooted, among other things, in her own experience of shifting historical narratives in the aftermath of the dissolution of Yugoslavia.
