              Lise Birk Pedersen

              Documentary Filmdirector

              Lise Birk Pedersen is an award-winning documentary filmmaker specializing in character-driven narratives about people in the political arena. Lise is interested in the conditions of democracy and has made films about populism and democratic experiments in Italy and the emerging dictatorship and political violence in Russia. Her films have been screened at Danish and international film festivals and TV stations around the world. In addition to directing, Lise works as a consultant, teacher, and with the development of teaching.
