          Kamal Sinclair

Kamal Sinclair is an artist, cultural strategist, and creative foresight practitioner whose work spans more than three decades at the convergence of the arts, media, and technology. She is co-developing Question Bridge: 250, a video-mediated dialogue among 250 Americans launching in fall 2026, and its companion project 250 Dreams, which explores how the personal aspirations of 250 Americans might yield a collectively designed future. She is also developing Understory Arts, a land-rooted creative initiative in Altadena, California dedicated to artist support, regenerative practice, and post-fire cultural recovery. Previously, Sinclair directed Sundance Institute's New Frontier Labs Program and served as Senior Director of Digital Innovation at The Music Center. Her Ford Foundation research, Making a New Reality, reached over 100,000 professionals and influenced policy at major tech companies. As co-creator of Question Bridge: Black Males, she helped build an award-winning project that reached over three million people. Sinclair holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
