Celine Tricart
"Celine Tricart is an internationally acclaimed director and producer, expert in new technologies such as VR and AI. Her work has been featured at prestigious festivals such as Sundance, Venice, Tribeca, SXSW, and HotDocs. She received a Lion at the Venice Film Festival (2019) and the Storyscapes Award at Tribeca (2019) for the interactive VR experience ""The Key."" Additionally, she co-directed and produced Maria Bello’s ""Sun Ladies,"" a VR documentary about female Yazidis fighting ISIS in Iraq showcased at Sundance 2018. Before that, Celine worked for 10 years in the film industry in camera crews alongside filmmakers Michael Bay (Transformers 4 and 5) and Jonathan Nolan (Westworld). Celine has been recognized for her directorial and artistic achievements by prestigious institutions. She served as President of the International VR Jury at the 2020 Venice Film Festival alongside Academy Award winner Asif Kapadia and video game legend Hideo Kojima. In 2021, she was knighted by the French government. She delivered a keynote on storytelling at SXSW in 2022. In her free time, Celine is a martial artist, Empowerment Self-Defense instructor, avid gamer, and author of books on VR and 3D filmmaking. Celine also co-founded COVEN, a Paris-based video game studio. Her first video game, ""Masters of Light,"" is released in May 2024."
