              Ced’art Tamasala

              Artist

              Ced’art Tamasala is a Congolese artist and founding member of CATPC. His practice combines sculpture, film and land-based work to connect art, authorship and economic justice. Through Human Activities, his work is shown internationally in major museums and documentary contexts.; Based in Lusanga, Ced’art Tamasala is a member of CATPC. Through sculpture, film, and performance, he explores colonialism and cultural memory. In 2024, he represented the Netherlands at the Venice Biennale, honoring plantation workers' roles in funding Western arts. Tamasala also lectures globally, advocating for the inclusion of plantation workers in cultural spaces.
