Bår Tyrmi graduated from Napier University in Edinburgh in 2002. Since then he has written and directed hundreds of productions worldwide. The productions range from docs on cryptocurrency, reality series about the UN Millennium Goals and a children's musical about women's rights in Bangladesh.
