          CPH:DOX is warming up for next year’s festival by regularly sharing special events, films, and guests that you can look forward to experiencing at the festival, which takes place March 11-22, 2026.

          True to tradition, the program will be packed with documentaries that shed light on the world we live in, seen from scientific, artistic, power-critical, human, young, experienced, unshakeable, fantastically funny, and completely absurd perspectives.

          The full program for CPH:DOX and DOX:DANMARK will be announced in February 2026.

This live-performed horror film explores how human intelligence depends on domination, ultimately leading to its own undoing. In a post-human world, disembodied brains awaken from cryogenic sleep and attempt to survive by possessing inanimate objects, only to discover that their drive for domination has created the very monsters that threaten their existence.

          'Brains in the State of Suspension' is a live performance horror film exploring disembodied intelligence, domination, and horror as self-aware brains confront the monstrous consequences of their own drive for control. The experience is a special event of live cinema and will be performed twice on the 17th of March at Kunsthal Charlottenborg for a limited capacity.
