Join us for a FILM:MAKERS IN DIALOGUE where intricate power dynamics in contemporary society will be explored. Join Yance Ford (Power); Brett Story and Stephen Maing (Union) for a discussion on the origins of policing, labour rights activism, and the potential for collective change. Together they will share insights on documenting how ordinary people stand up to different forces through a rich personal visual language. This session will engage critically with issues of power and privilege on film, and hopefully empower the industry to amplify voices of resistance and solidarity.
