              Renzo Martens

              Renzo Martens is an artist and filmmaker whose work examines power, capitalism and representation. Founder of Human Activities and initiator of CATPC, he develops projects with Congolese artists shown worldwide, including White Cube and Enjoy Poverty. His practice bridges art and documentary.; Renzo Martens is a provocative creator offering fresh perspectives on societal issues. In films like Enjoy Poverty and White Cube, he questions traditional thinking through an interlinked oeuvre where each project reinvents the last. Daring and vulnerable, Martens and CATPC use critical art about inequality to actively redress it, proving that art can spark real, systemic change globally.
