              Kathryn Ferguson

              Belfast-born Kathryn Ferguson is an Emmy-nominated director and writer. Her debut feature Nothing Compares, about Sinéad O’Connor, premiered at Sundance 2022, won multiple awards and received over thirty international nominations. She is a BAFTA Breakthrough and co-founded Tara Films.; Kathryn Ferguson is a Belfast-born, Emmy-nominated film director. Her debut feature Nothing Compares (Sundance '22) won multiple awards including two BIFAs and was nominated for 30+ international awards. A BAFTA Breakthrough honouree in 2023, Kathryn is co-founder of production company Tara Films. Her first short drama Nostalgie - made with Film4, premiered at BFI London Film Festival in 2025
