          Industry Awards & Juries

          CPH:INDUSTRY will once again spotlight creative and innovative storytelling through a variety of prestigious awards. The awards will be handed out at the CPH:INDUSTRY Happy Hour & Award show on Thursday, March 19.

          The Eurimages New Lab Awards will celebrate innovative projects by non-conventional filmmakers and visual artists through two awards: The Innovation Award of €20,000 for an experimental project in development and the Outreach Award of €30,000 to promote audience outreach for an experimental project in late production or post-production. 

          The Sandbox Films Science Pitch Prize Award will highlight an outstanding science documentary project which will receive a $25,000 cash award along with support from Sandbox Films to bring their vision to life.

          The Al Jazeera Documentary Channel Co-Production Award with a €15,000 prize will be awarded to a project highlighting urgent matters of our times from, or about, the MENA region and Sub-Saharan Africa.

          The Jacob Burns Film Center will grant one project a stipend and residency including access to editing and post-producing facilities totalling a value of approximately $10,000.

          The ARTE Award will be handed out to two projects in the form of two consultations with Rough Cut Services totalling a value of €2,500 for each.

          The Rise and Shine Award provides a cash prize of €3,000 to the project with the best international potential and no sales agent yet attached.

          The Unifrance & Titrafilm Doc Award totalling €5,500 in benefits for the best French production or co-production presented at the forum.

          For CHANGE projects specifically:

          The Millennium Docs Against Gravity Award includes industry accreditations to the next edition of MDAG for two team members, as well as accommodation and travel expenses and a place at the main pitching session, the Progress Pitching Session at MDAG Industry, along with preparatory training with tutors.

          FOR CPH:LAB projects specifically:

          The Onassis ONX Award: The prize consists of supporting one CPH:LAB project from the ongoing edition (2025/2026) by providing tailored curatorial, technical, and business consultancy from the ONX team in Athens and New York. In addition, the winning team will receive studio access to the ONX facilities in the newly established studio space in Athens, at Onassis Ready.

          The NewImages Award: The selected CPH:LAB project will be invited to participate in the XR Development Market 2026 of the NewImages Festival to meet partners across different industries and artistic disciplines, to further develop their ideas and collaborations, and enhance their visibility. NewImages Festival returns from April 8 to 12, 2026 at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie.

          The DOK Leipzig Award: The award gives the opportunity to one selected project from CPH:LAB 2025/2026 to be part of the DOK Exchange XR Programme showcase at the coming DOK Leipzig in October 2026.
