          The State of Information in Europe

          For the public, there is no going back, the digital world is here to stay.

          Leading experts on news and the flow of information will exchange ideas on how to protect journalists from influence and foreign threats, how the infrastructure that they use to find and convey their findings might be improved, and how we could make the right to information a priority for citizens at the same level as health care or defense.  

          Speakers

          Christo Grozev

          Christo Grozev was lead investigator and executive director of Bellingcat, the open source investigation platform. Since 2023 he is lead investigator with Der Spiegel and The Insider, and is a research fellow in open source research at Bard College. Christo's investigative work at Bellingcat, Spiegel and the Insider resulted in multiple awards including two Emmy's, the European Press Prize, the Nannen Prize for investigative Journalism, and an Academy Award for the film Navalny that he co-created.

          Rasmus Kleis Nielsen

          Rasmus Kleis Nielsen is Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Copenhagen and Senior Research Associate of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, University of Oxford. A widely published academic, he also writes regularly about media for various news media.

          Ingrid Libercier

          Ingrid Libercier is Director of Programs at ARTE GEIE since 2023. With a strong background in documentary production and acquisitions, she previously led operations at Boréales and managed productions at Zodiak Kids.

          Axel Arnö

          Axel is Head of Documentary, Science and Current Affairs at SVT.
