How do you maintain perspective when producing and curating content born in the midst of conflict between nations and communities? From Northern Ireland to Kosovo, from Armenia to Bosnia, what have storytellers, platforms, and festivals learned from the documentation of tumultuous times that can help us understand societal upheavals, now and in the future?

Mary McKeagney

Commissioner and Executive Producer based in BBC Belfast. Recent Documentary Productions include: Once Upon a Time in NI, Face Down, The Hooded Men; Britain's Torture Playbook, The House of Paisley, Patrick Kielty: 100 years of Union, Murder in the Badlands, The Year that rocked Irish Dancing.

Lise Lense-Møller

Film producer, CEO of Magic Hour Films and Head of Studies for EAVEs Producer’s workshop. Lise has produced and co-produced 65+ films – many of them prize winning international co-productions and also has a long track record in training a.o. as expert and now Head of Studies for EAVE since 1993.

Clara Vuillermoz

Clara Vuillermoz carried studies of Political Sciences, Cinema and specialized in Documentaries. Producer at Point du Jour-Les films du balibari for 8 years, in 2024 she joins Solent Production for new adventures. Clara is a 2014 Eurodoc graduate, a 2022 EAVE Producer’s workshop alumni.
