In the second panel, EARTH, we come closer to the ground to engage in the stories and science of complex — and microscopic — entanglements of species and the interdependence of life. How is science and documentary evolving to advance understanding these webs of connectedness?

Anupama Srinivasan

Anupama Srinivasan is a filmmaker, film educator and curator based in Delhi, India. An alumna of Harvard University and FTII, Pune, she has been making documentaries for the past two decades. The feature documentary, 'Nocturnes' that she co-directed won a Special Jury Prize at Sundance 2024.

Rob Liddell

Executive Producer at BBC STUDIOS Science Unit responsible for landmark programming.

Ondřej Vavrečka

Ondřej Vavrečka, PhD. is a filmmaker, an artist, a teacher at Film Academy, Praue (FAMU) where he studied. His films were honored by several prizes. He currently works on documentary musical about the idea of progress called “1+1+1” and an filmeditation about armenian film director Artur Aristakisyan. More on www.ondrejvavrecka.cz

Anirban Dutta

Anirban Dutta is a filmmaker, still photographer and a media educator based in Delhi, India. He was part of the Eurodoc Training Program for Creative Producing in 2021. The feature documentary 'Nocturnes' that he produced and co-directed won the Special Jury Award for Craft at Sundance 2024.
