              Thorvald Nilsen

              Producer

              Thorvald started Indie Film Bergen in 2023. He earned his Master’s Degree in Documentary Filmmaking at the University College of Volda, and served as the festival director of The Norwegian Documentary Film Festival in 2013. He produced the film Once Aurora, which won Best Nordic Documentary in 2019.
