- How can I submit a project to CPH:FORUM 2026?
You can find the rules and regulations here. CPH:FORUM projects for 2026 can be found here. Submission opening dates for CPH:FORUM 2026 will open again in September 2026.
- Who can apply for CPH:FORUM?
CPH:FORUM is CPH:DOX’s international financing and co-production event dedicated to facilitating the development and financing of creative and visually strong film projects with international potential, whether they are features, series or new media projects in the intersection of non-fiction, fiction, visual art, journalism and science. Read more here.
- When is the CPH:FORUM 2026 selection going to be released?
The CPH:FORUM selection can be found here.
- How much is the submission fee?
The submission fee is 250 DKK (approx. 30 EUR), it can be paid by credit card. Paid fees will not be refunded. The submission fee can be waived for film professionals from countries on the DAC list and from the European low-AV capacity countries in the LCC 2 group (Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Republic of Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia).
- I have several projects, can I apply with more than one?
You are welcome to submit multiple projects. Regarding the selection, there is nothing against having several projects by the same team/production company being selected and it has happened before. However, it is rarely the case that a director pitches two projects at CPH:FORUM both for the sake of ensuring a broad representation of filmmakers and because of scheduling feasibility.
- I am a director with a project, but I am still looking for a producer. Can I apply too?
It is technically possible to submit without a production company, however, we very rarely select projects without a producer/production company on board, for the reason that we are an international financing forum and a production company is simply needed in order to engage in meaningful talks with the invited decision makers and financiers.
- Does CPH:FORUM provide support towards travel and accommodation for selected projects?
As a general rule, we do not provide travel or accommodation for filmmakers presenting projects at CPH:FORUM. Unlike many other pitching platforms, we do not charge a fee for filmmakers to come and present their projects. We are aware that it is an expense for filmmakers to come and present at the CPH:FORUM and we have a very small budget to assist some pitch teams with travel bursaries which are allocated based on an assessment of which projects are most in need. Additionally, sometimes embassies or other institutions can be helpful and provide travel stipends, and if selected we would be happy to assist you in this process.
