              Boris Despodov

              Producer

              Boris Despodov is a producer and director with films recognized at top festivals. His debut, Corridor #8, won at the 58th Berlinale. He worked with Italian film icon Claudia Cardinale in Twice Upon a Time in the West, her first leading role in a decade, the film was screened in MoMA in New York.; Boris Despodov started filmmaking two decades ago. His debut documentary film Corridor #8 was awarded the Ecumenical Jury Prize at the 58th Berlinale. He worked with the Italian film icon Claudia Cardinale in his film ‘Twice Upon a Time in the West.’ In Feb. 2023, the film was screened at MoMA in New York as part of a Claudia Cardinale tribute series and has been acquired for U.S. distribution.
