SMK
Statens Museum for Kunst
Sølvgade 48-50
1307 København K
Directions
Public transport: The National Gallery of Denmark is located in the heart of Copenhagen, and it is easy to reach by public transport. There are metro and S-train services to both Østerport and Nørreport, and it’s about a 10-minute walk from both stations.
Parking: There are various parking options for SMK, but none located on the premises. We would, therefore, like to draw attention to the parking regulations for Copenhagen V.
To access the handicap parking spaces in front of the museum, please use the entrance from Østre Voldgade. Use the intercom to gain access to the parking spaces. When you wish to leave the museum, please use the exit at Sølvgade. Drive slowly towards the bollard, which is automatically lowered.
Accessibility Guide
The venue is accessible for wheelchair users.
Accessible Floors: All floors at the venue are accessible.
Wheelchair Seating: There is a limited number of 2 wheelchair seats for wheelchair users in the room.
Accessible Restrooms: There are accessible restrooms in the venue.
Additional accessibility feature: Through the A built-in teleslynge system, hearing aids may be connected to the audio emerging from the screening.
While this venue is accessible, we would appreciate being informed if you are using a wheelchair so we can provide the best service upon your arrival. Please send this information via email to tickets@cphdox.dk.
Companion:
All cinemas participating in CPH:DOX offer a companion policy. This means that a person with a disability who requires assistance can bring a companion free of charge upon presentation of a valid companion card. Companions must be at least 14 years old, as recommended by the Danish Disability Organizations.
If you have purchased a wheelchair-accessible ticket, the companion seat is automatically included.
If you have a disability requiring a companion but do not need a wheelchair, we recommend purchasing two tickets and then submitting the Companion Form to receive a refund for the companion ticket.
