              First line of experts confirmed for INTRO:DOX and DOX:ACADEMY

              INTRO:DOX 2026 offers two full days of interactive sessions for professionals working on their first or second non-fiction feature while DOX:ACADEMY 2026 offers full access to the CPH:DOX film programme, conferences, and industry events for students eager to immerse themselves in documentary filmmaking.

              INTRO:DOX

              Are you an emerging documentary filmmaker or producer ready to take the next step in your career? INTRO:DOX 2026 offers two full days of interactive sessions (March 15 – 16) for professionals working on their first or second non-fiction feature.

              This year the programme will be hosted by Gugi Gumilang (International Film Programmer, In-Docs / Docs by the Sea) and will feature international experts including Jane Mote (Editorial Consultant, The Whickers), Asta Dalman (Commissioning Editor, SVT), Jenny Luukkonen (Co-production Executive, Film i Väst), Michelle McCree (Executive in Charge of Production, CBC), Sarah Mosses (Founder & CEO, Together Films), and John English (Co-founder, OTOXO Productions), alongside CPH:DOX’s Mara Gourd-Mercado and Mads Mikkelsen.

              Participants will gain practical insights, take part in mentoring sessions, and build networks through workshops, Meet & Greet events, and a special networking reception where industry professionals mix, mingle, and celebrate emerging talent.

              DOX:ACADEMY & DOX:ACADEMY+

              Are you a student or recent graduate eager to immerse yourself in documentary filmmaking? DOX:ACADEMY 2026 offers full access to the CPH:DOX film programme, conferences, and industry events. For those seeking a more intensive experience, DOX:ACADEMY+ offers five-day classes running 16-20 March 2026, combining theory and practice while fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration.

              The 2026 classes are moderated by Therese Henningsen (filmmaker and programmer), Eva Marie Rødbro (filmmaker), Stefan Kruse (filmmaker and visual artist), Nagieb Khaja (journalist and filmmaker), and Peter Albrechtsen (sound designer and music supervisor).
