              A group of delightful teenage girls who have all fled to Germany find their own creative ways to overcome hidden discrimination in a film about friendship, sisterhood and living your dreams.

              Everyday dramas, laughter and blossoming friendships. Filmmaker Rand Beiruty has followed a group of lively teenage girls over four years of their lives. The girls have one thing in common: they have all fled their homelands in Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Kurdistan and Romania, seeking peace in a quiet German provincial town. But perhaps they have more in common than the painful experience of having fled and having to find themselves in a new and foreign culture. Through encounters with inspiring female artists, the girls learn to share their stories and dreams with each other, and to give precious glimpses of what is hidden deep inside them. Together with the girls, Jordanian Rand Beiruty creates a space where they stage their biggest and wildest dreams in front of the camera. A space where anything is possible – even being served a cake with a passport printed in icing on top.
