              'Dark Rooms' invites intimate exploration across virtual spaces where real stories of sexual awakening ask us to confront taboos, and move beyond shame and prejudice into the realm of unspoken desire and personal liberation.

              Artist statement

              In a world where sexuality often lingers in the shadows, ‘Dark Rooms’ opens a vivid space for unspoken desires and intimate exploration. You are invited to enter four inner spaces of real protagonists as they navigate moments of sexual awakening, confront societal taboos, and embrace their identities.

              Set within a dreamlike virtual environment, the experience offers a safer space to witness and explore diverse sexual encounters revealing deeply personal truths and offering a mirror to reflect on one’s own, approached with care and respect.

              This piece contains scenes of sexual nature and is recommended for mature audiences only.

              The artists will be present and giving a talk about the piece on the 21st of March 18:00 – 18:45 at Kunsthal Charlottenborg by the entrance to the INTER:ACTIVE exhibition.
