Gibney’s latest, three hour and a half long, In Restless Dreams: The Music of Paul Simon (2023), presented at CPH:DOX, brings once again his storytelling talent to the music documentary genre. After Sinatra: All or Nothing at All (2015), he turns his gaze towards the fascinating Paul Simon, digging deep into extensive archives and reflecting upon the creative processes behind Paul’s iconic career.
