              Watch ‘No Other Land’ on PARA:DOX

              One of last year's most influential and talked about documentaries, the now Oscar-nominated 'No Other Land', can now be seen exclusively on CPH:DOX's very own streaming service PARA:DOX in Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

              Since its Danish premiere in November last year, ‘No Other Land’ has sold more than 15,000 tickets in Danish cinemas, making it one of the most popular and critically acclaimed documentaries of the past few years. Now, just less than a month before the film could win an Oscar for Best Documentary, one of last year’s most influential and talked about documentaries, ‘No Other Land’, can be seen exclusively on CPH:DOX’s very own streaming service PARA:DOX in Denmark, Greenland and The Faroe Islands.

              And here’s a little tip!               About No Other Land
              The Audience Award winner from both the Berlinale and CPH:DOX is about an unusual alliance between Palestinian activist Basel Adra and Israeli journalist Yuval Abraham. Both part of the Palestinian-Israeli collective that created the film. 25-year-old Basel is Palestinian and has spent his young life documenting how Israeli authorities have spearheaded the illegal settler takeover of land in Masafer Yatta in the West Bank, from which more than a thousand people are about to be displaced.

              Yuval is a journalist from Israel and has been covering the situation from the inside and outside for years. Their relationship is very uneasy: Basel lives under military occupation, while Yuval can come and go as he pleases. But after initial skepticism, Yuval is warmly welcomed by Basel’s friends and family.

              However, the heavily armed Israeli soldiers increasingly see him as a traitor as they pave the way for the bulldozers that roll in to destroy people’s homes before their eyes. An important prequel to everything that has happened since October 7, 2023 – and an unflinching account of the people caught in the middle of the conflict.
