Accessibility Guide

At Røde Kors Frivillighus, there is great space and wheelchair accessibility. Therefore we haven’t designated specific wheelchair tickets for sale. We kindly ask you to purchase a regular ticket. However, we would appreciate being informed if you are using a wheelchair, so we can provide the best service upon your arrival. Please send this information via email to tickets@cphdox.dk.

There is access to an accessible toilet, where a lift is available to access the adjacent national office. There is a small 5 cm curb at the main entrance, but wheelchairs can easily navigate over it. We can open both doors if you have an extra-wide wheelchair.

The seats on the blue chairs are 43 cm. You can also sit on the “sitting steps,” and there are no width restrictions.

Ledsager: Of course, CPH:DOX has a companion arrangement, allowing you to bring a companion for free to your desired screening. If you need a companion seat, please contact us at tickets@cphdox.dk.

After the film, we talk with author Mads Nygaard ('De uledsagedes bog'), function manager at the Children's Center at Sandholm, Helle Kjems, and program manager for Mental Well-being among people with a refugee background and counselor in the Red Cross' search service ('Restoring Family Links'), Christel Voldby Winther, together with Zaki, who fled the war in Afghanistan as an unaccompanied refugee at the age of 15, and Tarak, who fled the war in Syria alone at the age of 19. He is currently involved in DFUNK's board and works with a project on unaccompanied refugee children at Venligboerne. The conversation will be moderated by the Danish/Iranian author, singer and rapper, Shahin Aakjær aka. Fabeldyret
