When architecture shapes community
What do buildings mean for the way we understand ourselves? Join us at Designmuseum Denmark for an evening exploring architecture, urban development, and the stories our buildings carry.
With the film ‘Alle Os og Siloen’, we invite you to an evening at Designmuseum Denmark focused on local identity, building preservation, and renewal. Through a compelling cinematic narrative, the film examines the role of architecture in everyday life — as a framework for community, memory, and change.
The evening begins with an introduction by Vibe Worning, director of Project 4850, who will contextualize the film and open a conversation about how buildings can be both rooted in history and point toward the future. How do we balance preserving what has shaped us while making space for renewal and new needs?
After the screening, the audience is invited to the Designmuseum’s library, where a specially curated mini-exhibition explores the themes through archival material, publications, and visual highlights. Here, visitors can engage deeply with the ideas, dilemmas, and possibilities that emerge at the intersection of cultural heritage, architecture, and local identity.
This conversation will be in Danish.
