What is Consciousness? Dementia Research and Understanding Your Own Mind

At the premiere of the film, meet the director Suki Chan in conversation with collaborator and participant in the film, neuroscientist and author Dr. Anil Seth.

At the premiere of ‘Conscious’, we explore what we all can learn from dementia research. In an era of increased predominance of brain fog, cognitive decline and memory deficiencies, a new science of consciousness and self offers a fresh perspective to unravel one of humanity’s greatest conundrums. What makes you ‘you’? And, what happens, when our sense of self, become a foggy memory?

Meet the director of the film, Suki Chan, in conversation with neuroscientist and author, Dr. Anil Seth, as they talk about the process of making this film and explore the corners of our mind, memory and identity.

This conversation will be in English.
