Warren Ellis (film, talk and mini concert) – EXTRA SHOW

Multi-instrumentalist Warren Ellis has made his mark on the music scene over the past three decades, both on his own, as a member of the band The Dirty Three and as Nick Cave’s closest collaborator in The Bad Seeds. But far from the world-famous festival stages and concert halls, he has put his passion into a very different project, portrayed in the documentary ELLIS PARK. Together with animal activist Femke den Haas, he has created an animal sanctuary deep in the jungles of Sumatra where they rescue and help abused animals. The film depicts both his dual life as a musician and animal activist. On March 26 at the Bremen Teater, Warren Ellis will visit Denmark, where he will participate in a conversation about the film’s themes and then give an exclusive mini-concert with his regular partner, the violin.
