          Talk with Karen Barad – feminist, philosopher, and particle physicist – who has since the turn of the millennium made a rare and refreshing contribution to contemporary thought. In the conversation, Karen Barad will discuss her research within materialist ontologies and the ethical responsibility toward non/humans, arguing that the human/nonhuman binary enables practices of dehumanization.

          Barad is the author of Meeting the Universe Halfway: Quantum Physics and the Entanglement of Matter and Meaning (Duke University Press, 2007) and numerous articles in the fields of physics, philosophy, science studies, and nuclear studies.

          The conversation will be moderated by Lars Bang Larsen, Head of Art & Research at Art Hub Copenhagen.
