              Through a Queer Lens

              In collaboration with MIX Copenhagen, we open up the conversation Through a Queer Lens, exploring representation, intersectionality, and the right to define one’s own story on screen.

              With MIX Copenhagen – LGBTQ+ Film Festival, we invite you to a special screening of ‘Bouchra’, followed by a panel discussion examining what it means to create films through a queer lens.

              Drawing on the lived experiences of queer filmmakers, the conversation delves into how queer representation is shaped at the intersection of identity, body, culture, and power. How to portray complex queer lives and how to open up new intersectional perspectives on screen?

              The panel brings together queer voices from the film world for an open and reflective discussion on visibility, responsibility, and artistic freedom — and on why it still matters who tells the stories, and from which perspective they are told.
