The Games We Play in Time of War

Panel debate about wargaming with professor at DTU Compute, Aasa Feragen, together with Daniel Møller Ølgaard, Assistant Professor (PhD) at the Institute for Military Technology.

The concept of wargaming can seem like some kind of geo-political role-play, but is it actually a useful tool to prepare for the worst case scenario? After the screening of ‘Intelligence Rising’ we take a closer look at the use of wargaming as a way of understanding the mechanisms of war. What can they teach us about modern warfare? How are they implemented? And can AI be used responsibly in matters of geopolitical security?

We explore this in a conversation with professor at DTU Compute, Aasa Feragen, together with Daniel Møller Ølgaard, Assistant Professor (PhD) at the Institute for Military Technology.

This event is presented in collaboration with DDSA.

This conversation will be in English.
