Punk & preach! Film: ‘Girls & Gods’ + concert: CHÆK at Stefanskirken
Experience an evening where punk and preaching meet. Punk priest Thomas Høg Nørager opens Stefanskirken for the screening of 'Girls & Gods' and a punk concert with CHÆK. An evening where feminism and faith collide in a boundary-pushing encounter.
DOX:CONNECT invites you to a very special film experience at Stefanskirken, where the parish hall will be transformed into a cinema, presenting the world premiere of Girls & Gods, followed by a punk concert with CHÆK. On this night, music becomes a call to arms against patriarchal structures—a ritual of liberation and a tribute to resistance. CHÆK consists of four young musicians from Aarhus. With youthful rebellion at heart and amplifiers turned up to MAX, they have previously ignited chaotic energy on Aarhus’ stages. The band evokes the spirit of past uprisings, and despite their young age, they manage to deliver the industry the slap it has long asked for—and sorely needed—this time from the parish hall of Stefanskirken.
