Pianist Nicolai Kornerup interprets Sakamoto live after a special screening of 'Ryuichi Sakamoto | Opus' at SMK.
After a special screening of ‘Ryuichi Sakamoto | Opus’ at SMK, award-winning pianist and composer Nicolai Kornerup will interpret selected works by Sakamoto and fill the museum stage with classical tones created especially for the occasion.
Nicolai Kornerup is an established Danish pianist and composer with a background in classical, rhythmic and folk music. He has been awarded and nominated for numerous music awards and received the Carl Award for Best Composer in 2018. Kornerup works as a composer, producer and arranger for several international artists, including Kwamie Liv, Soleima, LiveStrings, Perfume Genius, Rasmus Walter, Thomas Dybdahl, Danish Radio Big Band and Andrea Pellegrini.
The concert lasts approx. 30 min. and takes place in direct continuation of the film screening.
