Małgorzata Mirga-Tas:
Małgorzata Mirga-Tas (b. 1978) is both an artist and an activist. She depicts Roma culture in textile collages that highlight community, cultural heritage, and women’s lives. With fabric, embroidery, and recycled materials, she interweaves poetry and politics. This, her first solo exhibition in Denmark, presents works that challenge hierarchies and foreground overlooked histories. Read more here.
The exhibition is presented as part of HUMAN:RIGHTS — a collaboration between Kunsthal Charlottenborg, CPH:DOX, and Human Rights Watch Denmark with support from Frececo Fonden, Dreyers Fond, and IMS.
