          Lydmor – film & concert!

A 45-person choir, a guitarist, a Foley artist - and, last but not least, Jenny Rossander aka. Lydmor, on stage for a very special live performance of the album ‘Nimue’, after the screening of the film about her.

It is nothing less than a scoop that will take place this evening at the Bremen Theatre. After the screening of the documentary ‘Jenny – a Portrait of the Artist Lydmor’, the protagonist will perform her entire album ‘Nimue’ live from start to finish – something that has never been done before. The album was named the best of 2022 by several major media outlets, and the choral works it contains will be performed this evening together with BARK: a 45-person Copenhagen choir conducted by Lasse Aagaard.

At the same time, foley artist Cathrine Le Dous will recreate the album’s sound design live, from the sound of the sea to crunching footsteps in the snow. And as if that weren’t enough, the evening will begin with the screening of the film itself, in which the creation of the album plays a central role. Here we get an intimate portrait of an uncompromising, feminist artist and musician who shows both the violent creative urge and the personal costs of using her own life as artistic raw material.
