              Lars H.U.G. cinema concert: ‘METAMETA – A World Without Us’

              Experience a cinema concert with Lars H.U.G., who will be playing live for his debut as a film director. As an extra treat for fans, he has included a handful of brand new songs on the soundtrack. 

              Danish cultural heritage would not be the same without Lars H.U.G. As a musician in the 80s band Kliché and with his own solo career, he has made a unique mark on Danish pop and rock music and as a painter. In 2016, he stopped touring as a musician when, after receiving the Steppeulven award for live performer of the year, he stated that now that he had finally become a professional, it was a good time to stop.
               
              This year, he makes his debut as a film director with the crazy ‘METAMETA – The World Without Us’, which premieres at CPH:DOX. 
               
              The film will only be shown once in Copenhagen, where Lars H.U.G. and musicians will give a short performance before the film starts and will be an active part of the film’s soundtrack during the festival!  A soundtrack will be released in April 2026 in connection with the film.
