Lars H.U.G. cinema concert: ‘METAMETA – A World Without Us’
Experience a cinema concert with Lars H.U.G., who will be playing live for his debut as a film director. As an extra treat for fans, he has included a handful of brand new songs on the soundtrack.
Danish cultural heritage would not be the same without Lars H.U.G. As a musician in the 80s band Kliché and with his own solo career, he has made a unique mark on Danish pop and rock music and as a painter. In 2016, he stopped touring as a musician when, after receiving the Steppeulven award for live performer of the year, he stated that now that he had finally become a professional, it was a good time to stop.
This year, he makes his debut as a film director with the crazy ‘METAMETA – The World Without Us’, which premieres at CPH:DOX. The film will only be shown twice during the festival, in Copenhagen and Aarhus, where Lars and a couple of musicians will be on stage to transform the film into an unforgettable live cinema concert!
The film is in Danish, but the soundtrack is in English and is expected to be released around the time of the film’s premiere.
