Climate change is still a thing! And how to keep on making a difference

Following the world premiere of 'Jason's Box, we invite you to a panel discussion on climate activism in Greenland and all the small actions we can take to avoid drowning in a feeling of powerlessness. Meet the film's protagonist and glaciologist, Jason Box, in conversation with the film's director Michael Strassburger and co-star Niels Sakariassen.

With everybody’s gaze on Greenland, questions about glaciology and research of the ice sheet may seem like relics from a distant past. But climate change does not just stop, because we forget about it. For researcher Jason Box, the climate has always been his main focus and concern. He is a glaciologist at the The Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland and Greenland and has dedicated his life to monitoring, understanding and communicating what is happening on the ice sheet, but in recent years he has devoted more of his time to climate activism than climate research.

Meet Jason Box, along with the film’s director Michael Strassburger and co-star Niels Sakariassen, in a conversation about a changing Greenland and all the small actions they take every day to make a difference for the climate and not lose heart.

This conversation will be in English.
