As CPH:DOX opens its doors to a brand new Social Cinema, designed based on the principles of Universal Design and equal access for all. At its core is the projection cube, now transformed into a dynamic dancefloor pulsating with the theme of Body Politics.
Visual artist Anthony Dexter Giannelli, drawing inspiration from his own journey with mobility, has curated a collection of visuals that delve deep into the complexities of the human form and its societal implications. Through his work, Giannelli invites guests to explore the emotional landscape of his experiences, transcending physical limitations to create a truly immersive experience for all.
Providing the sonic backdrop for the evening are two exceptional DJs, IDA AYA and Suziethecockroach. IDA AYA, renowned for her boundary-pushing blend of house, techno, and garage, crafts mesmerizing soundscapes that invites listeners to lose themselves in the music. Suziethecockroach brings her unique blend of ultra-percussive beats, erotic club music, and fast-paced rhythms from the global south to the dancefloor.
So get ready to dance the night away with a series of unforgettable DJ sets and amazing, body inspired visuals by the visual artist Anthony Dexter Giannelli.
DJ IDA AYA will play from 22.00-00.00 and DJ Suziethecockroach will go on from 00.00-02.00.
