Beer, film and lunch in the barns: A beer geeky Saturday with BaneGaarden, CPH:DOX and To Øl.

Beer, film and lunch in the barns: A beer geeky Saturday with BaneGaarden, CPH:DOX and To Øl.

For this very special screening of 'Bottle Conditioned', we move out of the cinema and into Copenhagen's green oasis BaneGaarden - just five minutes from Enghave Plads.

Together with co-founder of Årstiderne and BaneGaarden, Søren Ejlersen, we will dive into the principles of brewing beer with To Øl’s head brewer, Tamar. To Øl is a Danish microbrewery that makes some of the world’s most admired craft beers. With a focus on grains, malt, fermentation and wild fermentation, we’ll try to understand how nature works for us when we treat it well ourselves.

We start the day together by eating a green lunch made from high-quality organic ingredients and then watch a film in one of BaneGaarden’s atmospheric barns. We eat the lunch together at long tables. After the film, we dive into the beer brewing process and will both see and taste the spontaneously fermented golden drops under the expert guidance of To Øl and BaneGaarden.

The ticket price includes an organic green lunch, film screening, beer brewing demonstration – and very special tastings of Cantillon, among other things. Cantillon is one of the last traditional lambic breweries in Belgium that produces the spontaneously fermented beer.

This event will be in Danish.

Presented in collaboration with BaneGaarden and To Øl.
