Arctic Stories: ‘Takkuuk’ – film, concerts and talk

After the premiere of 'Takkuuk' there will be a Q&A, and a concert with Tarrak and Katarina Barruk and the film's director.

We celebrate the launch of our Human Rights program ‘Right Here, Right Now’ with a breathtakingly visual and musically explosive journey into the Arctic, where musicians and researchers share their personal stories about nature, culture, and identity in rapid change—to a dizzying score by Irish band BICEP. Afterwards, two of the indigenous musicians featured in the film, rapper Tarrak and electronic musician and Sami singer Katarina Barruk, will each give a mini-concert. Finally, there will be a conversation with the two and the film’s director, Charlie Miller, moderated by Greenlandic film producer Emile Hertling Péronard.
