          Archiving Legacy

How do we tell today’s stories through the icons of the past? At Designmuseum Denmark, the conversation Archiving Legacy explores the curatorial choices and responsibilities that come with presenting living cultural heritage through archives, movements, and historical figures.

Designmuseum Denmark and CAFx invites you to a conversation exploring how curatorial strategies, exhibition design, and archival materials can create stories that speak to the present while maintaining a connection to the past.

Archives are never neutral. They select, stage, and activate history. But how can iconic movements and historical figures be made present in a contemporary context that asks new questions about legacy, relevance, and representation? How does one balance documentation and interpretation, authority and openness?

This conversation will be in Danish

The ticket grants access to the entire museum (closes at 18:00)
