Christo Grozev is an award-winning Bulgarian investigative journalist and protagonist of the documentary film ‘Antidote’, which has its world premiere in the F:ACT AWARD competition at CPH:DOX. He specializes in exposing state-sponsored assassinations, cyber warfare and disinformation, including the unraveling of Russian intelligence involvement in poison attacks on opposition politicians. Grozev, who is known from the digging journalist group Bellingcat and his revealing research on the Russian intelligence service, will participate in a conversation with director James Jones, Bo Elkjær, investigative journalist at Dagbladet Information and researcher Anastasiia Kruope from Human Rights Watch, after the screening of the nail-biting docu-thriller ‘Antidote’ about Grozev and Bellingcat’s work. With deep insight into geopolitical power games and digital investigative techniques, Grozev will shed light on the themes of ‘Antidote’ and his – sometimes dangerous – work to uncover the truth in an age of misinformation and war propaganda.
