PRESS & INDUSTRY SCREENING - The More Naked We Dare to Be

          10:00 - 11:15 Wednesday 26th Mar 2025 / 75 min

The more naked we dare to be “…
…the clearer the picture becomes. The last film in Jon Bang Carlsen’s “Winslow Trilogy” is about the relationship between the viewer and the viewed. In this case the teenager’s in front of his camera and the old guy behind the camera. While researching the teenagers’ touching stories of broken love in the little town and in the Navajo Nation surrounding Winslow the filmmaker realises that the local teenagers’ stories mirrors his own in far away Denmark half a century ago. Anybody who ever used a camera knows that the photographer is always present as a reflection in his own motif. Out of a thousand possible filmic moments we tend to choose moments that mirror our own life as well…because those moment we recognise. “The more naked we dare to be” is the third movie in “The Winslow Trilogy” following “The banality of Grief” and “Dreaming Arizona”.
