              What if the mysteries of life can be found in the gutter? That question drives an unusual man on a journey to explore our connection to the stars.

              For decades, astronomers around the world have searched in vain for stardust in the universe. Leading scientists have long since given up on the idea. But amateur and hobby scientist Jon Larsen has not lost heart.

              Armed with a broom and dustpan, he searches for microscopic traces of stardust on roofs and in gutters. With minimal resources, he cleans his samples under the kitchen sink using a sieve. Jon claims to have found real stardust. The claim is met with ridicule and rejection from the established scientific community. But what if he is right?
