              Let your hair down and join an acid-fueled road trip through the summer with two young ‘Deadheads’ as they follow Grateful Dead on their final tour.

              Over the course of a hot and dusty summer, the young lovers Jerry and Annie start up their van and follow in the footsteps of the iconic psychedelic band Grateful Dead, which has since become Dead & Company, on the band’s final tour. 

              Together with a large group of other so-called Deadheads, they form a tail of dedicated, relaxed, and extremely sweet fans who, full of acid and love, dance their way through the summer as one big, happy, tanned family in earth-colored, airy clothes and bare feet. Being a Deadhead is a magical lifestyle, a life that ties lives together criss-cross, like tufts of hair that haven’t seen a comb in weeks. The result is probably the sweetest and most summery film of the year.
