              For 30 years, storm chaser and nature photographer Jeff Gammons has sought out all the biggest hurricanes along the American coastline and captured their raw beauty with his camera. The new IMAX film ‘Stormbound’ follows him closely as he fearlessly throws himself into the storm. In other words: This is an experience quite unlike anything else.

              But even though the sublime scenes from the eye of the hurricanes can match the biggest action epics, they are underpinned by a painful seriousness. Jeff suffers from a life-threatening illness that means he could pass away at any moment. And perhaps it is precisely this dark cloud that drives him towards the storms? With his beloved and faithful wife by his side, it is time to consider what really matters most in life. From there, a pure and beautiful love story develops that will go straight to the heart.
