              The popular Danish songwriter is lovingly portrayed by his wife and film director Linda Wendel in a film that spans six decades in the service of music.

               
              Niels Skousen’s music speaks effortlessly to people across generations. He has been with us all the way from the beat generation, through the hippie era, and strolled through the political landscape to today, where he still stands out as a sharp and loving observer. An unmistakably personal voice and music that freely and unpretentiously speaks directly to the audience. 

              It can speak in capital letters, but also find the silence between the words. Director Linda Wendel is the wife of Skousen, and she has thrown moments and stories into the air, put the original lyrics under the microscope and created a portrait that embraces an entire artist’s life. And not least, she lets the music speak for itself – culminating in a beautiful Andy Warhol-like finale.
