              The year is 2014. Entrepreneurial tech billionaire Elon Musk presents his plans for self-driving cars to applause and cheers. But what no one knows is that Tesla’s autopilot is far from fully developed and that Tesla’s customers are unwittingly becoming test subjects in a life-threatening experiment, where data from their cars is used to develop the technology in real time. 

              Shocking footage reveals how unpredictable and reckless Tesla cars can be. It all culminates in a fatal accident in Florida, where the bereaved hold Tesla accountable through a lawsuit. The moral short circuit becomes a bigger picture of what happens when a powerful man begins to view the whole world as his playground. Victims and relatives, whistleblowers, investigative journalists and former senior Tesla employees paint a shocking picture of a corporate culture where grand visions and financial interests trump safety.
