Double Trouble

What do you get when you leave two aging Polish widows and inseparable soul mates in each other's loving company in a village in Romania? Double trouble!
Meet Hanka and Bronka! Two inseparable best friends who fill their days with fun and games, although there isn’t much left to laugh about. Their husbands have long since left this world, and their children have emigrated to find work, leaving them behind in a Polish village in Romania near the Ukrainian border. The invasion from Russia looms on the horizon.
The Russian threat is approaching, and their children worry about their elderly mothers when they call home. Sooner or later, Hanka and Bronka must make a difficult decision: leave the village and each other – or stay, regardless of the risk. While they wait for the outcome on the edge of Europe, they sing and dance their way through the days. Double Trouble is a humorous and heartwarming tale of a close-knit sisterhood, and it is also a contagious story about life after work and marriage.
